So, according to the in list, we have six places left.

For those who have yet to decide due to financial constraints, let's see if we can clarify things.

One option for travel is to fly to Krakow and get a transfer. The transfer is about 360 euro but they can fit up to eight people in the minibus, so if we can fill it, that's just 45 each, which is pretty cheap.

The cheap airlines don't advertise pricing this far from the travel dates but a flight from Edinburgh to Krakow should be less than a hundred and fifty quid and less if you fly from London.

The other option is to fly to Bratislava and get the train. Costs of flights will be more and last year this involved an overnight stay due to flight times not matching up. Could be an option for people though.

Also, the lift pass should be cheap since it's March. No prices as yet but last year we were talking the eighty quid region.

Add on the costs of the hot spring swimming pool and beer and good costs and you're in for a bargain :D

Looking on the Jasna website we are going to miss the cheap lift pass going 5th to 12th March. Showing prices for next year and EUR78 pass only starts on 21st March :(
For 6 days pass during 5th to the 12th it looks like it is going to be double at 156 EUR!!

Martin i presume the date is fixed then for the trip now? I know Paul said the week after is definitely taken and that would still be the pricier lift pass anyway. Is later in March an option or is everyone happy to pay double?

thanks Paul.

Cheap passes start on 21, not 19, so it would have to be the week after that. i say stick to the dates we have already.

It's still an OK price. Im happy with that - there's been new lift over the last few years which I've certainly appreciated

hope that makes sense. Im drunk and its only 6pm

Just for info for the 19th-26th you could take a day pass on the 20th at EUR29 then a 4 day pass at EUR64 when the cheaper prices kick in on 21st. This is based on riding 20th to 25th inclusive with 19th being day of arrival at Propaganda.

Martins the boss so he can decide

Ta for the text Marty Mc.Linux, but I'm deffo out as I priced up a flight Dubai-Anywherenear last year and it was, shall we say, a little prohibitive cost wise. ;)
At this point we decided to call it a day, and move onto something safer... like the over the blind crest third gear one leg off stand-up wheelie competition.

The price of the chalet doesn't change there, so anything set already is flexible, thanks to Paul.

The cheap lift tickets are temping, but the snow is not guaranteed, especially so late in the month...

Hmmm, we have ten people so far, I'm not that fussed, but the price is tempting, let's see what everyone has to say.

just in my opinion........ everything is so bloody expensive to do anywhere else in the world, for the sake of just 70 quid, id take the 2 weeks earlier and more likely better conditions...... most people will earn that in a day, or by not going out on the beers for one night.... seems a shame to move an entire ski holiday on the basis of something that small.... especially when people have over 6 months to scrimp and save for that extra wopping £70

 said the man with the VX220 when he was a mere 20 years old :)

In terms of saving for this holiday going any time in March means I can only save a certain amount as I am paid monthly and need to budget for this trip. I would prefer the chances of good snow and spend a tenner a day less on beers and sweets. ( well maybe not the sweets )

I am willing to go with the general consensus on the "perfect" week to go
