Right, I've done the poll and enabled 'show poll voters', so I think I've done this right this month!
My goal this month is to keep a food journal.
I kept one for a few months last year and it made a big difference to what went into my body. So far this year I haven't been overly bothered about weight, as I need to eat more to lift more, so haven't been concerned about a couple of extra kilos during this strength phase. But I've noticed I've been adding a bit too much crap into my eating lately, so I started a food journal the other week to work out whether my standard eating was giving me enough calories, and sure enough, even though I have 6 meals a day, I wasn't getting enough calories - hence the picking on crap. So I've made some additions to my 6 meals to get up to a decent maintenance level of calories per day, so my aim is to keep up with the journal for the month and stick to my 6 meals/maintenance calories.
I have one official day off, which is the Food Show day (May 15) - which involves paying $20 (about 8 pounds), walking around a venue with a wine glass on a shoelace around my neck, and tasting wine and lovely food until I've had enough. It's a great day!
