F*CK phone insurance woops!

Postby mysterious_rider » Thu Jul 29, 2010 6:11 pm

Jesus christ, got a call today, got told by the guy i need to sort out my insurance details, I do, i beleive he is from the company i bought the phone from

NOPE.

googled the number after giving over my details, turns out they are some second rate insurance company, apparently taking 45 quid from your account straight after the call. What the f*ck. How the hell did they get my fricking number so quickly? and they didnt specify they werent to do with my contracter.

BASTARDS. So i tried ringing them 'we are closed at the moment'
f***.

I am so pissed off. More annoyed at myself for giving over details! ARGH.

Guess I'll have to phone up, and cancel it tomorrow.

01792222322 thats the company who phoned me. Not a massive amount of info on it. anyone clued up on this sort of thing?

14 day cooling off period... simple as.
At this point we decided to call it a day, and move onto something safer... like the over the blind crest third gear one leg off stand-up wheelie competition.

...and don't be so thick to hand over your details over the phone next time ;)

whats that all about, what does that exactly mean?

And yes, the sad thing about it was that I guessed it was the company who I was with. Since they knew about me and my new phone

Someone said you can only cancel via the documents they send you. Hmm. Ill try phoning tomorrow maybe.

When I got my new ohone online I accidently included the insurance with geek squad. Carphone were very good about cancelling it hwne I picked the phone up, not on my bill and all the documents to go with it.

And they strictly adhere to the 14 day cooling off period.
